Residents are bracing for the next winter blast expected to hit southwestern Connecticut.A winter storm watch has been issued for southwestern Connecticut from Saturday through Sunday morning.News 12 Connecticut meteorologist Paul Piorek says the snow will develop by mid-afternoon Saturday and continue through the night. Between 6 and 10 inches of snow are possible for the region.In Redding, the foreman of the highway department says crews are ready and prepared for the worst. Jim Sugden says he will be bringing in all of his crews and that they will treat the roads in the morning and then have the trucks go out once the snow hits.
