Southwestern Connecticut dealt with yet another winter blast Tuesday.
Light snow started falling Tuesday morning around 10 a.m. with accumulations of about 2 inches in some areas of the region. Temperatures dropped below freezing after sunset, causing some roads to freeze over.
Dozens of schools in the area were dismissed early Tuesday. Many school superintendents said they didn?t want to risk sending children home on the slick, slippery roads.
Motorists are advised to use caution while driving since roads are icy and dangerous.
