Southwestern Connecticut poll workers received crucial security training Tuesday.
Several hundred poll workers were trained at Norwalk City Hall.
Each poll station will have a police officer and a bipartisan team of "challengers," who can challenge someone's eligibility to vote if there's any question who they are.
As for the ballots, election officials say none of the vote-counting machines are connected to the internet. But once the results are tabulated, they are electronically sent to the state in Hartford.
