A splash park in Milford offers a great way for kids to cool down during extreme temperatures.
The splash pad first opened at Eisenhower Park last year and has sprinklers and fountains that constantly shoot cold water.
Some splash pad revelers told News 12 that their favorite part of the park is a bucket that dumps gallons of water on them.
"It's really cold but it's fun to play in," says Maddy Brooks.
Parents say they're happy to have somewhere to take their kids to stay cool.
"I love it. We have a huge sprinkler at home but it doesn't do any justice to this obviously," says Corena Tortorta.
