A Stamford city employee is facing larceny charges in connection with a payroll scam.
Former city assistant recreation superintendent Scott Beauregard turned himself in this week.
On Monday, officials announced that a city manager had been fired for manipulating the payroll system to increase the salary of a worker by $7,000.
Beauregard is due in court later this month.
