While many residents can't bear to be outside in the recent freezing temperatures, one Stamford family has been frolicking in the Long Island Sound all winter long. George Yu and his son Jack can be found swimming at Cummings Beach in Stamford just about every weekend. Jack says it keeps him and his 71-year-old father healthy.

The duo will take part in the annual Westport Penguin Plunge at Compo Beach Saturday afternoon.
