Stamford's annual Columbus Day Parade took place Sunday.
The parade started outside of Sacred Heart Church on Schuyler Avenue.
Thousands of people gathered to watch the procession. Some say they watch it every year, while others say this year was their first.
The parade included bands and elected officials. Some children also represented their schools in the parade.
The procession ended with a celebration in Columbus Park.
