The Stamford High School boys soccer team is back in a state championship game after 74 years.
The Black Knights beat Greenwich 3-0 Wednesday night in the Class LL state semifinal game at Norwalk High School.
"It's crazy. We weren't alive, our parents weren't alive, maybe our grandparents weren't alive the last time this happened so it's a great feeling," said Stamford goalkeeper Cristian Vitti.
Stamford head coach Mike Summa says his team never quits.
"We've never won a state championship here at Stamford High and to just be on that stage it's impressive and it's exciting for all of us," he said.
The Black Knights play Hall this weekend for the state title in Hartford.
