A Stamford man is accused of sexual assault for allegedly kissing a woman on the buttocks while she was grocery shopping.
The Stamford Advocate reports it happened at the Shop Rite on Hope Street earlier this week.
Wendell Woodroffe, 37, reportedly kissed the woman after she bent over to take an item from a shelf.
The paper reports the woman felt something, but didn't realize what had happened until a store employee who saw the incident told her.
