A Stamford man has pleaded not guilty to charges he killed his mother.
Police say Anthony Fiordelisi slit his 86-year old mother's wrist at their home on Sylvan Knoll Road.
They say he told officers he killed her because he did not want her to see him commit suicide.
They say Fiordelisi cut his own wrists, but he survived.
Police say he was his mother's primary caregiver.
