A Stamford man reached out to News 12 in the hope of finding the owner of an expensive drone he found in a park.
Mark Baez says that he and his wife were walking their dog, Kyla, in their neighborhood park on Second Street back in February when they found the drone in the snow. He says he found the camera that was attached to the drone Tuesday while walking in the same spot where they found the drone.
Baez says the drone is DJI Phantom FC40 model and probably costs about $1,200.
The drone camera contained footage of Stamford's downtown area, according to Baez. He was able to see from the footage that two boys about 12 years old were operating the drone at the time.
Baez says that he wishes to return it to its rightful owner.
