Federal prosecutors say a Stamford man who shot a police officer in the face has pleaded guilty to drug and gun charges.
Officials say 29-year-old Ephraim Goitom shot officer Richard Gasperino in the face while he was serving a search warrant for drugs in 2010.
According to officials, Goitom is expected to be sentenced to 25 years in prison.
