A Stamford mom whose young son was found buried in Cummings Park in January was back in court briefly Thursday.
Iris Rivera-Santos is facing numerous charges in connection to the death of 2-year-old Liam Rivera, including hindering prosecution for allegedly lying to police.
Rivera-Santos initially said the child's father killed her son and held her hostage at gunpoint.
Police say they are waiting for the full autopsy results, which could lead to additional charges.
The medical examiner's initial report ruled that Liam Rivera died from blunt force injury to the head.
