The man accused of threatening a former colleague with a handgun and forcing the evacuation of a Stamford office building was arraigned Monday.
Police say Joel D'Ort, 27, confronted his former supervisor Friday afternoon, strangling and pointing a gun at her.
Attorney Stephan Seeger says D'Ort may have a serious psychiatric history and only wanted his old job back. Seegar is calling for a special evaluation of his client.
Bail has been set at $800,000. D'Ort is scheduled back in court Oct. 27.
