Stamford police: 2nd suspect in botched robbery surrenders to authorities

David Lewis, of New Milford, turned himself into police. He faces several charges, including conspiracy assault and conspiracy robbery.

A second suspect who Stamford police say was involved in a botched robbery that led to a man being shot was arrested Saturday.
David Lewis, of New Milford, turned himself into police. He faces several charges, including conspiracy assault and conspiracy robbery.
His arrest is in connection to the Feb. 9 incident in which a man was shot in the stomach on Henry Street near Pacific Street.
Jose Montanez, of Bridgeport, was the first suspect arrested on Tuesday. He was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, first-degree conspiracy at robbery and criminal possession of a firearm.
Lewis is being held on $150,000 bond.
