The owners of a store in Stamford hosted a vigil to remember those lost in the terror attacks in Paris.
Michael and Regina Kirshbaum, who own the fashion shop Agabhumi, invited the community to gather there. Mayor David Martin was on hand to show his support.
The Kirshbaums maintain that terror attacks should not stop the Western way of life.
"We need to have the kind of life that we believe is correct," Michael Kirshbaum said. "Liberty is the backbone of the French Revolution."
The Kirshbaums said they were at Los Angeles International Airport two years ago when a gunman opened fire and killed a TSA officer. That experience has led them to reach out to others.
