Students and staff at Trinity Catholic High School in Stamford are mourning the loss of a teen.
Senior Cassidy Geary, 17, was killed in an early morning car accident Saturday. Police say Geary, who lived in Norwalk, died after her car hit a utility pole on Fillow Street.
Flags at the school were lowered in memory of Geary, and an all-school prayer service was held. Principal Robert D?Aquila says Geary was not only outgoing and friendly, but also had the respect of her peers.
D?Aquila says counselors are meeting with grieving students. He says they will be available for the next few days.
