Stamford officials confirmed THURSDAY that they suspended two high school swim coaches after athletes claimed they got sick after being forced to practice in a pool that was not properly chlorinated.
Officials say some of the swimmers had a physical reaction after entering the water. They say some of the swimmer's also told them that the water looked "strange."
Stamford School District says the state Health Department checked the pool and found the chlorine to be outside the proper parameters.
News 12 Connecticut was told the water has been retreated and the swimmers are back at practice under the supervision of the athletic director.
