Stamford police say a teen connected to a tire slashing spree has been arrested.As News 12 Connecticut reported in April, about 73 tires were slashed over a three-day period. Police say the tire slashing spree was a competition between teens in the area. Officials say the vandalism started with teens from Greenwich slashing tires in Stamford. According to officials, Stamford teens would then go to Greenwich to retaliate. At some point, officials say, Stamford teens began slashing tires in their own area.Police say the 16-year-old boy has admitted to slashing 34 tires. He is facing charges including criminal mischief and conspiracy.
