Connecticut State Police say they are taking extra precautions to make sure commuters are safe in the wake of the terror attacks in Paris.
Officials say there will be more officers and police dogs patrolling bus and train stations. There will also be more officers patrolling on the trains as well.
These officers are part of the Mass Transit Team, a group dedicated to keeping commuters safe.
"We board the trains to look for anything suspicious. We look for anything that is out of place and certainly anything that our dogs may alert to," says Sgt. Steve Ostroski.
Police advise the public to be aware. They say anyone who sees something suspicious should immediately report it.
