A 44-year-old Fairfield woman was killed when her Porsche rear-ended a tractor-trailer just after midnight on I-95 in Westport.
Connecticut State Police say they responded to a report of a collision in the northbound lanes south of Exit 18. Their preliminary investigation found that the tanker was stopped in the right lane due to heavy traffic just before the crash.
They say Julia D. Clarke was pronounced dead at the scene. The tractor-trailer driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
