State police: Milford man facing manslaughter charges in 2023 deadly wrong-way crash

Officials said Charles Connors was driving a black Dodge Challenger when it collided head-on with a gray Honda Accord.

A Milford man is charged with manslaughter with a motor vehicle, and operating under the influence, after a deadly 2023 wrong-way crash in Danbury.
Police said it happened on Sept. of 2023 on Route 7 South.
Officials said Charles Connors was driving a black Dodge Challenger when it collided head-on with a gray Honda Accord.
The driver of the Honda Accord was transported to Danbury Hospital and later died due to her injuries.
Connors was extricated out of the vehicle and transported to the same hospital.
Police say at the hospital, Connors made several comments about drinking and driving.
Officials also found that Instagram posts showed Connors at multiple bars that night.
Connors was also charged with speeding, reckless endangerment and driving the wrong way.
