6ds agoState Police arrested a nearly 15-year veteran of the New Haven Police Department on Wednesday.
Police said Sgt. Louis DeCrescenzo was arrested on domestic violence charges, and has been on paid administrative leave since May.
The leave was prompted by a complaint and followed by an investigation.
No further details on what led up to the arrest.
DeCrescenzo is charged with breach of peace and threatening.
