State police say a Woodbury officer was stabbed during a traffic stop on Thursday.
It happened just before 1:30 p.m. near North Main Street.
State police say the officer activated his emergency button on his radio calling for assistance.
The officer was hospitalized and is stable.
State police identified the suspect as Tyler Wilmot of Woodbury.
Wilmont is facing a number of charges including criminal attempt to commit murder.
