State police say the pedestrian struck by a car on Sunday afternoon has died.
Authorities say it happened on Clearview Avenue just before noon. They identified the victim as 24-year-old Kevin Gangell of Harwinton.
Both the driver and his passenger were taken to the hospital. State police are investigating the incident.
