Connecticut State Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Interstate 95 northbound near Exit 41 in Orange on Saturday afternoon.

According to officials, the incident happened around 2 p.m. in broad daylight, when a man riding a sport-style motorcycle allegedly fired multiple shots at a white GMC truck.

Both vehicles fled the scene before officers arrived.

The suspect was described as wearing a green jacket, light blue jeans, a red full-face helmet and carrying a black backpack.

The motorcycle was identified as an orange and chrome sport-style bike.

Troopers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from exits 39 to 43 to contact Troop G at 203-696-2500.
