Four candidates in the 22nd District state Senate race are campaigning hard in the final days leading up to the Democratic primary.
The district includes Trumbull and parts of Bridgeport and Monroe.
State Sen. Marilyn Moore, the incumbent, announced she is stepping down earlier this year.
The candidates are Trumbull attorney Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox, former Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch, Bridgeport Councilman Scott Burns and former Bridgeport Councilman Tyler Mack.
A high-ranking Bridgeport official, who asked not to be named, said, "The four-way race is highly competitive - and who will win is anybody's guess."
Voters go to the polls Aug. 13.
