FORECAST:
Last night’s storms really packed a punch! Strong winds caused some damage around the area, and a few spots saw some flooding. Some places even picked up close to 2 inches of rain.
Today’s looking a bit calmer. It’s still going to be steamy out there, though. While it won’t be quite as hot as yesterday, the humidity is sticking around, so it’ll still feel like the low-90s this afternoon.
We’re not totally in the clear just yet. There’s still a chance for some pop-up thunderstorms tomorrow. Most of Wednesday should stay dry, but don’t be surprised if an isolated storm rolls through later in the day.
Looking ahead to Thursday, it could turn out to be a wetter day overall, which means we’ll need to keep an eye on the potential for more flooding.
