News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Joe Martucci says rain and some thunderstorms will taper off overnight.
NEXT: Monday will be a gusty day, with winds generally out of the west. Morning sun will give way to afternoon showers. Monday night will be 80% dry, with rain showers early in the evening and then from roughly 2-8 a.m. Tuesday.
FORECAST
MONDAY: Sunshine greets us followed by some clouds and light showers in the afternoon. Highs near seasonal 62. Lows near 45.
TUESDAY: Some sun with clouds and a chance for showers in the morning for southern/coastal communities. Highs near 56 degrees. Lows near 43.
WEDNESDAY: Cooler into the 50s - 58 degrees in Bridgeport. Shower chances again in the afternoon. Lows near 41.
THURSDAY: Similar day as prior with slightly warmer temps. Afternoon showers possible. Highs near 59. Lows near 43.
FRIDAY - CINCO DE MAYO: Even spicier, with 60 degrees, the sun and clouds mix. Highs near seasonal with overnight lows near 46.
