Newtown saw the highest snow total in the region Tuesday with 10.8 inches.
News 12 Connecticut’s Mark Sudol says there was limited visibility when the snow was coming down at a clip of 2 to 3 inches per hour.
Newtown police say they did not have any reported incidents during the snowstorm and Department of Public Works crews were able to keep roadways clear.
Workers wrapped up their road clearing efforts around 2 p.m.
