Sunny and hot for rest of workweek, scattered showers return for Saturday

FORECAST:
It will be partly cloudy overnight, with patchy fog.
Wednesday is shaping up to be beautiful, with sunshine and highs near 80 degrees.
Thursday will be even hotter, with highs in the 80s to near 90 for parts of Long Island.
The dry weather will last through Friday before scattered showers return for the weekend.
Expect the chance for scattered showers on Saturday in the morning and then again late in the day, with some dry time in between.
The forecast has changed a little bit, bringing the chance for showers into Sunday morning. Skies will likely clear for the afternoon but check back with us for updates.
Highs over the weekend will be in the low 70s, with lows near 60 degrees.
