Many children across Connecticut are on spring break this week, and some local attractions are holding fun events to draw in visitors.
Thousands of visitors came to Maritime Aquarium in South Norwalk to take advantage of the programs and features set up specifically for spring break week.
Those features include a new dragon exhibit, and the IMAX Theatre is debuting a film offering a life-size look at humpback whales.
There is even a weeklong camp for budding marine biologists. The camp, called Spring Vacation Adventures, offers two different programs - one for ages 6 to 8 and another for ages 9 to 12.
