Just in time for spring – Holland Ridge Farms in Cream Ridge is hosting its first-ever Tulip Festival.
Farm officials say that this past opening weekend was a huge success as visitors had a chance to see all of the colorful tulips.
Visitors are also able to pick their own tulips and they get to keep the bulb so that the flowers can be replanted. Visitors are also able to ride bicycles around the farm, just like in Holland.
The farm has produced tulips for supermarkets all along the East Coast for many years. Owners say that after seeing hayrides and wineries take off they decided to show off their work to the public as well.
The festival should be open for the next few weeks. More information can be found at the farm’s website.
