Power has been restored to a New Canaan road after a car struck a utility pole, officials say.

The incident happened Wednesday on Jellof Mill Road during a snowstorm.

Police say wires were down, and the pole caught fire after the incident.

Eversource officials say power was out in the area for several hours while crews worked to replace the pole, but has since been restored.
