As the investigation continues into New Canaan mom Jennifer Dulos' disappearance, a former FBI investigator says the public could help solve the case.
Kenneth Gray says he can see how it's been hard to come up with any evidence. The FBI Evidence Recovery Team combed Waveny Park Monday looking for anything that points to where Dulos could be. Dulos' car was found in that park the night she went missing on May 24.
Gray spent 24 years in the FBI. He now lectures at the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Science. He says at this point, it's not just keys or a cellphone New Canaan and federal authorities are looking for. He says they need to conduct a neighborhood search and talk to residents.
New Canaan police are asking for any surveillance video captured on the days surrounding Dulo's disappearance. Authorities say surveillance video caught Fotis Dulos and his girlfriend Michelle Troconis dumping things in trash cans that appeared to have blood on them.
Gray says Fotis Dulos and Troconis are most likely being charged with lesser crimes while investigators continue to look for any additional evidence that could prove they were involved in a violent crime.
Gray says if it is determined Jennifer Dulos was attacked, the pair could be charged with murder - even if the body is never found.
