Sunday marks the start of Connecticut’s Sales Tax Free Week.
Officials say clothes and shoes that cost less than $100 will be exempt from sales Sunday through Aug. 24. The week falls as many parents are shelling out money for kids heading back to school.
State Sen. Bob Duff spoke with News 12 at Hawley Lane Shoes in Norwalk and said the week is a win-win for everyone.
"Sales Tax Free Week is really a win-win for small businesses, it's a win-win for parents and it's a win-win for our economy,” said Duff.
