Authorities say a dispute between two roommates in Woodbridge Township ended with one strangling the other in their home.
According to Middlesex County prosecutors, Corne Dionisio, 33, has been charged with murder and aggravated assault in the death of Fidel Ruiz, 32.
Police responded to the home Saturday around 8 a.m. and found Ruiz dead. An autopsy determined he died from homicidal asphyxiation.
Authorities have not said what caused the dispute or disclosed further details about the incident, citing the ongoing investigation.
It wasn't known Tuesday if Dionisio has retained an attorney.
He’s currently being held in the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center.
