A vigil was held Sunday for a missing Stamford woman.

Karolina Martinez Vanni was last seen on Dec. 9 getting on a bus on East Main Street in Stamford heading towards Darien.

Community members are hoping she returns home safely.

"It's a community, so it hit us hard because we know her daughters and we want whoever sees her or has seen her or have any information just contact the Stamford police," said neighbor Maria Saravia.

Police are currently investigating the situation.
