Movie theaters will soon reopen for business after being closed for months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Stamford's Bowtie Majestic 6 theater will reopen for business on June 17, along with some other indoor family favorites.
Connecticut's Phase 2 allows for indoor recreation such as theaters and bowling alleys, like Fairfield's Nutmeg Lanes, to open back up at 50% capacity.
The businesses have to observe social distancing guidelines, make sure employees are wearing masks and install new barriers where possible.
Bowtie Cinemas' chief operating officer says the chain is encouraging customers to buy tickets online ahead of time for some old favorites coming back to screens later this month.
New movies won't start coming out until July. Tickets in June will be discounted.

There will also be fewer showtimes to allow for more cleaning times.

Nutmeg Bowl in Fairfield will have bowling balls set aside and sanitized before being lent to customers.
