A Redding man is facing charges in connection to the fatal shooting of his wife, police say.
Richard Commaille, 70, turned himself into Connecticut State Police Tuesday and was charged with the murder of his wife, Nanci Commaille.
Redding Police Chief Mark O'Donnell says police were called to Richard Commaille's house on Top Ledge Road on April 6 following a 911 call about an untimely death.
Police found Commaille's wife shot to death.
O'Donnell says Redding police noticed "suspicious evidence" and immediately turned it over to Connecticut State Police.
Commaille was processed and released on a $500,000 bond, and will appear in Waterbury court today because the Danbury court is closed due to the coronavirus.
Connecticut State Police have sealed the arrest warrant for 14 days.
