Many local businesses struggled to keep their doors open during the pandemic, but one Stratford family is opening their second restaurant in Milford.

The new restaurant and bar, Kiki, is all about Latin American and European seafood flavors, craft cocktails and open-air dining - just in time for summer.

Alex Gjeka and his family had opened La Fortuna italian restaurant in Stratford just a few months before COVID-19 hit. After a few months closed, they adapted and flourished with outdoor dining and Gjeka says before long, customers from Milford were asking him to expand.

Gjeka says he's hoping to have Kiki open to the public by next weekend.
