With days getting darker earlier this time of year, a group of Stratford business owners is coming together to help keep pedestrians safe.
They're passing out free reflective safety bands that can be worn by people or pets.
Doug Grabe, the owner of Little Pub & Surfside Hotel, says it's all part of a program called "Stratford Safe."
He says the nonprofit initiative resulted from a community conversations meeting where the topic of night safety came up.
They say Stratford residents can get the free reflective safety bands by registering online.
