A student-run produce market in Bridgeport had its grand-opening this morning. The second-graders at the Barnum School are selling their own fruits and vegetables to gain hands-on experience in nutrition.

A student-run produce market in Bridgeport had its grand-opening this morning.
The second-graders at the Barnum School are selling their own fruits and vegetables to gain hands-on experience in nutrition. They also grew some of the produce.
Teachers and volunteers help run the market.
The Barnum Kid's Produce Market will be open tomorrow and Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
