Students thank Grade A Market workers for keeping families fed amid pandemic

The sixth-grade students say it's the least they could do after the employees worked so hard to keep their families fed during a tough time.

About 35 students from Catholic Academy of Stamford spent time Thursday putting together care packages for the more than 125 employees at Grade A Market, along with a note thanking them for their work during the pandemic.
The sixth-grade students say it's the least they could do after the employees worked so hard to keep their families fed during a tough time.
Kush Malhotra, the store manager, said their thank you notes “means a lot to all the grocery store workers.”
Catholic Academy students in each class take on a different service project every month. The sixth graders will be starting their next project in a few weeks.
