NOW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Scott Sincoff says after a frosty start throughout western Connecticut, things have thawed out a bit with highs in the 40s around the region. A few sprinkles and snowflakes are out and about in Litchfield county and will be fading as the evening progresses.
NEW: Turning clear and continually cool as we head into the middle of the week. Clouds will be dropping as we go toward Tuesday and Wednesday with high temperatures around 50 degrees in the afternoons. Frosty conditions possible for the morning. Grab the extra layer because it will feel like the 40s.
NEXT: Buckle up! Temperatures are going up and down over the next week. The warmest days look to be closer to the weekend, but there’s also a chance of rain Friday and Saturday.
MONDAY: Partly cloudy. Cold and frost for some. Lows in the 30s.
TUESDAY: Decreasing clouds with a cool breeze. Highs around 50 degrees, but it will feel like the lower 40s.
WEDNESDAY: Sunny sky. Highs near 50 degrees.
THURSDAY: Mostly to partly sunny, warmer. Highs approaching 60 degrees.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy. Showers possible. Highs near 60 degrees.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with showers. Drying up late. Highs in the 50s.
SUNDAY: Breezy and cooler. Sun and clouds. Highs around 50 degrees.
