NOW: News12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says the weather will turn breezy, cloudy and damp at times and that is due to a weak storm offshore. The offshore storm is taking shape, but it won't strengthen very much. It will remain weak and move very slowly over the next few days. There will be rain, but if this storm continues to move slightly east, then our rain chances will be scaled back. More of the rain looks to hit eastern parts of Connecticut.
WHAT’S NEXT: The showers and sprinkles will be a bit of an annoyance from late tonight and into Friday. Friday looks like a rainier day and Thursday may not be bad at all. The humidity is up and if we do see breaks of sun tomorrow, temperatures could jump up into the upper 70s and some spots will be near 80. The cooler, fall-like temperatures are holding off until next week. The weekend weather should dry out and clear up a touch too. Sunday is the first day of fall and next week temperatures will only reach the upper 60s and lower 70s.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy, breaks of un in the afternoon, showers possible. High of 75.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with rain showers possible. High of 70.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny. High of 72.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny. High of 68.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 68.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny, risk of showers. High of 72.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy. High of 72.
