Sunshine hangs around today but temperatures will be cooler and there is a risk of showers popping up in the afternoon. They will be hit or miss and there is a chance to see some wet snowflakes mixing in up north. Colder air will settle in at night and wind chills on Thursday morning will feel like the 20s, so break back out the winter coats!
Another surge of warmer air will arrive on Friday and out ahead of that there will be some clouds late Thursday and even some showers overnight.
Friday's highs will bounce back into the middle 50s.
Rain will also return and it will be more widespread over the weekend. It won't be a washout, but the clouds will take over Friday night into Saturday with showers late.
We could also be treated with warm temperatures for the first half of the weekend with highs reaching 70 on Saturday afternoon.
Sunday is the better day to see more widespread rain. Temperatures will try to warm up, but if a cold front starts to move a bit farther south over the weekend, temperatures could end up being a lot cooler.
