A married southwestern Connecticut couple is watching the Super Bowl today in a house divided.
Beth McCollum, a New York Giants fan, and Chuck McCollum, who cheers for the New England Patriots, say their harmonious household will be on a timeout today when the teams they've long rooted for play for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
"It's not a matter of who wins and loses. It's that the marriage lasts afterwards," jokes Chuck McCollum.
While the McCollums' rooting interests differ on football, luckily they're on the same team when it comes to baseball.
They're both Boston Red Sox fans.
