Suspect charged in fatal shooting into first-floor window of Bridgeport home
A man was charged with fatally shooting another man through a first-floor window of a home in Bridgeport, police say.
Delvon Angel Rodriguez was arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of Jose Alicea back on May 9.
Police say Rodriguez went to Alicea's house on Washington Terrace and shot him through the window.
Alicia allegedly exchanged words with Rodriguez moments before the shooting.
In a statement to investigators, Rodriguez admitted to shooting Alicea over a conflict Alicea had with his girlfriend earlier that day.
Rodriguez is charged with manslaughter in the first degree with a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit.
He is being held on a $1 million bond and will be arraigned in court Friday.
