Police are searching for the suspect wanted for stabbing another man early Sunday morning.

Nearby residents say the suspect and victim knew each other. A witness called police shortly after 2 a.m. to report the stabbing, which allegedly took place after a fight at the corner of Harrell and Lexington avenues.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital. Police say his injuries were not life-threatening.

Anyone with information on the attack is asked to call Bridgeport police.
